
| Community Alliance Church exists to develop fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ who are genuine in their worship, disciplined in their walk, effective in the community of believers, bold in their witness, and passionate to reach their world for Jesus Christ. Values of our Church These are the stated values of this church: 1. Out reach; the intentional proclamation of the transforming work of Jesus Christ to all people. 2. Responsibility of all believers: the responsibility of individual believers to ponder and to practice what they have learned. 3. Scripture: the Bible as the inerrant word of God and as the final authority in life and practice. 4. Faith: the total commitment to the seen and the unseen things that God is and does and says. 5. Hope: as the healthy distribution of appropriate biblical power and the awakening of a personal biblical vision. 6. Youth: the investment of our resources in raising up future generations to walk with God. 7. Family: both marriages and families, holding them in high esteem, and assisting in their growth process. 8. Discipleship: the process of Christ's followers developing in their knowledge and application of the word of God, growing strong in their faith, and reproducing fruit in both their lives and in the lives of others. 9. Healing: healing of the body and the soul, and the spirit as the result of Christ's work in us by faith. 10. Love: as the highest expression to God and man as demonstrated in the Lord Jesus Christ. Purpose Statement The purpose of this church shall be to provide meaningful Bible teaching to all ages, boldly present Jesus Christ through need-centered evangelism that all might be presented complete in Christ. To accomplish this we will: 1. Promote the preaching and teaching of the Word of God for the purpose of maturing of the saints and of leading people to a personal faith in Christ as Savior. Seek the spiritual growth and well-being of it's members in providing Christian fellowship and showing love and compassion for one another. Acts 2:42-47, 4:32--35, Ephesians 4:11-16 4. Provide care for the needy. Romans 13:8-10, Matthew 10:42, 25:40, I Peter 2:12 5. Participate in mission boards of like faith and practice for the accomplishment of the Great Commission.
